My apartment is a trap. Lights, walls covered in Polaroids, it’s just so easy to shoot here.
So I shoot here a lot.
But it’s also stifling. Same background again and again. Easy begins to feel monotonous.
These shots…also a trap. Because I like the look. I like the look and that means I’ll want to do it again and again, but how much can I really shoot this way before I’m bored?
I’m almost bored, as is. Two more shoots this week planned, planned to do in this style.
But it’s nice to be bored. To know the things you don’t want to do again. Helps show which way to go.
