‘My daughter plays on my pole at home all the time.”: B.C. studio’s ‘Little Spinners’ class giving grade schoolers a taste of pole dancing
Most parents want to keep their daughters off the pole. But a dance and fitness studio in Duncan, B.C., is planning to train girls in aerobic pole-dancing basics before they hit puberty.

Twisted Grip Dance and Fitness Studio owner and instructor Kristy Craig says she is simply catering to her adult clients’ demands.

“My existing students were asking about it for their children. They were saying, ‘My daughter plays on my pole at home all the time, I’d love her to actually learn how to do things property and not hurt herself,’ ” said Ms. Craig, who is a certified fitness and aerobics instructor. Hmmm. Not sure how to feel about this, but I’m leaning much more towards the ‘NAWL’ side of things.

I have some reservations about this.
